Health Checkup Camp

On 15th April 2019, Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre organized the Health Checkup Camp for the students of Holy Heart Special School, Dwarka Mor.

Educational Workshop - 2019

“Every person on this earth is full of great possibilities that can be realized through imagination, effort and perseverance.”

There is a great psychology behind these line. Being as an educators sometimes we also can’t figure out how to deal with students in class. For all such doubts Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre organised an educational workshops at Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor for educators and interns.

Educators came up with their queries which was cleared by our guest of the event Ms Monica Dinesh Arya who also belong to special need children field. She provided very genuine and possible way to tackle the problems inside the class. Such workshop are very much beneficial for in terms of polishing the personality of the educator as learning is always be a part of ones life.

Interactive Session on Different Disability Topics

It’s been a great pleasure for the team of Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre for conducting an Interactive Session on different disability topics for the students of Amity University.

The workshop cum discussion session was organised at Holy Heart Special School on 6th June,2018 for the talented students of Amity University.

Workshop on Epilepsy

A workshop and discussion had been organized at Holy Heart Special School by Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre with support of Abbott Healthcare.

The speaker of the workshop was Honourable Dr. Praveen Kumar, Pediatric Neurologist from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.  

The key content of workshop was Epilepsy- Signs and Symptoms, Causes and Preventions. This workshop and discussion lead to useful information for all parents and professionals who were not really aware about Epilepsy.

Community Based Rehabilitation Program

On 17th February 2018, a CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) was conducted by our organization. The aim of this CBR was to help people with disabilities, by establishing community-based programs for social integration, equalization of opportunities, and rehabilitation programs for the disabled. 

This CBR program included the people with people with disabilities themselves, their families and communities, as well as appropriate professionals.

This CBR lead to start the wave of awareness and rehabilitation in those areas of South-West Delhi where people lost all hopes for their children with disabilities.

Workshop on Individualized Education Program

Knowledge of Individualized Education Program is very important for a special educator. To improve and enhance this knowledge a workshop was organized by "Special Life Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centre” at Holy Heart Special School on 16-09-17 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The topic of workshop was ‘Individualized Education Program’ which includes the sub topics like- What is an IEP, What is the use of an IEP and How to develop an IEP. Our
honorable speaker Ms. Aditi Gupta, Coordinator, Samarth Institute of Inclusive Education guided us in the development of IEP.

Her contribution in education is beyond words. A gathering of 50 professional shared their ideas, views and issues regarding understanding and development of IEP. It became a great effort by SLDTC.
