Two students from Holy Heart Special School actively participated in the 7th Diwali Utsav Career Fair held at Sanskriti School. They proudly set up and organized a stall displaying a range of handmade products, all crafted by children with special needs.
The students confidently managed the stall throughout the event, greeting visitors with enthusiasm and successfully selling the products. Their dedication and hard work not only impressed attendees but also highlighted their potential and growing independence.
This event provided a valuable platform to showcase the vocational skills being developed at our school, promoting the importance of empowering children with special needs through hands-on experiences. It was a great opportunity for our students to engage with the community, build confidence, and demonstrate their capabilities.
On August 14th, 2024, two students from Ability Vocational Centre, participated in the Independence Day event at Gurgaon..
Accompanied by their dedicated teachers, the students set up a vibrant stall showcasing a variety of handcrafted products made by children with special needs.
The products on display included gel glasses, chocolates, dry fruit trays, rakhis, diyas, key rings, pen stands, visiting card holders, paintings, coasters, bracelets, and earrings.
This event provided a unique opportunity for the students to demonstrate their creativity and craftsmanship while engaging with a broader community. The stall was well-received, serving as a testament to the talents and potential of individuals with special needs.
We are thrilled to share the success of our students from Holy Heart Special School, who put up a vibrant and inspiring stall at the 2-day State Level CRE Program on "Challenges & Treatment Strategies for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)," held from July 20th to 21st, 2024.
Our students’ stall was a highlight of the event, showcasing a variety of products crafted by the children themselves.
The stall not only highlighted the creativity and hard work of our students but also provided them with a platform to engage with a wider audience. Visitors to the stall were impressed by the quality and originality of the products. The students' confidence and enthusiasm were evident as they explained the making process and the inspiration behind their creations.

As we wrap up an incredible week at The Lalit Suri Hospitality School, our students embraced the final day with zest and enthusiasm! Here's how they made the most of their last day:
Mocktail Preparation:
Students became mixology maestros, crafting four tantalizing mocktails: Virgin Mojito, Watermelon Mojito, Virgin Green Gimlet, Mango Smoothie, and Sunday Morning, and Virgin Lagoon, adding a refreshing twist to their culinary repertoire.
Culmination of Skills Learned:
Certificate Distribution: A proud moment as students received certificates recognizing their dedication and achievements during the camp.
Feedback Session and Q&A: An opportunity for students to share their experiences, ask questions, and provide feedback on their learning journey.
Farewell Lunch and Group Photo: A heartwarming farewell lunch where memories were cherished, and friendships were celebrated, followed by a group photo session to capture the wonderful moments of the week.

Day 4 at The Lalit Suri Hospitality School Summer Camp was nothing short of sweet perfection!
Our students delved into the art of pastry making, crafting miniature cakes with Blueberry, Strawberry, and Chocolate icing, alongside mastering the secrets of pudding and doughnut creation.
They also polished their dining etiquettes, learning the finer points of table manners and proper dining decorum. It's been a week of culinary delights and refinement, preparing our budding hospitality stars for success!

Learn & Prepare:
Sandwiches: From Double Decker to Pinwheel, students mastered the art of sandwich making, learning various fillings and presentation techniques.
Soup: They warmed hearts with Hot & Sour and Crème of Spinach soups, perfecting the balance of flavors and textures.
Penne Alfredo Pasta: Students also learned the secrets behind preparing the creamy and delicious Penne Alfredo Pasta.
Group Activity:
Tile Painting: Creativity flourished as students engaged in a group activity of tile painting. They unleashed their artistic talents, creating colorful and vibrant designs together.
